Ho-hum (Week 28)

Nothing exciting here, just day after day of somersaults in my mom's tummy. I especially like to practice at night, when she's lying down after a hard day at the office. It's the only time she holds still, what do you expect?

Pictures in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the ultrasound tech that's taking them will be as awesome as Kristiana. If you're lucky, I'll even get my guitar out.

Ninjas > Pirates (or Week 24)

I have become quite the kung-fu artist. I'm now big enough to make my presence known; now even Daddy can feel it when thrash around sometimes.

No pics this week. Dr. Tinker says maybe the visit after next. Next time Mommy gets to drink this awesome orange stuff to make sure she doesn't have "the sugar". Fun times.

Week 19; or is it 20?

So apparently I'm fat. My mom has reassured me that I'm just "advanced". Dr. Tinker still says I'm coming on August 20, but not to be surprised if I come out a bit sooner, which would be A-OK w/ my mom. She's not looking forward to the summer.

Some lady poked and prodded on me this morning w/ this big plastic thing, but I couldn't be bothered to look up - it was much more interesting to play w/ my toes and suck my thumb. Mom and Dad thought it was cute, but it didn't make for very good snapshots. We'll try again in about 8 weeks.

Also, I am very modest, and don't want to show anyone my business. So everyone will just have to wait until I come out to see which parts I have! Right now, only I and Kristiana (the ultrasound tech) know. Ha-ha Auntie Karen!!

And here's one that Uncle Jeremy was able to find - although I'm not sure how his powers of ultrasound are able to surpass Kristiana's...

Week 15 (almost)

I love how I get 2 weeks for free. See your nearest biology book if that's confusing.

Anyway, some dude poked on me w/ this ultrasound probe just to check my heart beat, which is going strong at 140-150 bpm. Go me! I'm getting more pictures taken next month, so stay tuned...

My mommy is trying to be good about not eating the entire refrigerator every day, so it was shocking to her when the nurse tried to write a weight down that was 20 POUNDS HIGHER than it was 7 weeks ago. She was all, um, dude? Learn how to read a scale.

I would like to introduce myself

I am Wigglet #1. Due to meet everyone in person on August 20, I thought I would use this forum to keep you all informed on the events of my life. My mom waited too long to create this blog, and so "wigglet.blogspot.com" was taken by some girl named Whitney, who hasn't even posted since 2007. Sheesh. So, she went with the slightly-harder-to-remember address you see above.

Don't expect me to post too much at first. I'm too busy doing things like growing a brain.

Here's a picture. It's totally old - I was a mere 7 5/7 weeks old at the time, and now I'm 11 3/7. My mom is a notorious procrastinator.
